Sundays at St Andrew’s
Years 7 - 11
Our group for young people meets during the Sunday morning service at St Andrew’s in term time. We start the service in church with everyone else before moving to the vestry for our group. The group provides a relaxed space for young people to explore questions of life and faith. Sessions will typically include Bible studies, topical discussions, general chat and games. The topics and Bible passages covered are the same as the adults in church, and the younger children’s groups too, so everyone can compare notes afterwards.
Evening Service at St Marks’s
Year 7 onwards
On 3rd Sunday of the month we hold an informal evening service at St Mark’s Church (on Greenhead Road) at 7pm. The service involves worship, a short talk and a discussion time.
We invite our young people to arrive at 6pm and head to the Gibson Room in the church hall. This is a (supervised) chill out space with pizza, hot chocolate, music, a pool table, foosball table and air hockey.
Just before 7pm we all head up to the main church to go to the service together. The service is open for anyone to attend.
